APPAREL PROTOTYPE: ETSY MARKET TEST & SOCIAL PROOF
A focused design experiment testing apparel graphics and Facebook marketing assets for an Etsy storefront launch.
Year :
2021
Industry :
E-commerce / Fashion
Client :
Personal Project / Experimental
Project Duration :
1 week (Rapid Test)

Problem :
Launching a full clothing line is a high-risk investment without first testing how the market reacts to the designs. Many creators spend months on branding only to find their designs don't resonate with their target audience on platforms like Etsy and Facebook.

Solution :
I developed a Rapid Response Design Kit, consisting of core apparel graphics and a focused Facebook layout. By creating high-fidelity mockups and a cohesive social media aesthetic, I was able to simulate a professional brand experience to test audience engagement and validate the design direction for the Etsy marketplace.

Challenge :
The challenge was to produce high-quality, professional-grade visuals in a short timeframe to gather immediate feedback. I needed to create "lean" branding that looked established enough to drive real user interest, without the overhead of a multi-month development cycle.
Summary :
This project served as a successful proof-of-concept for a personal apparel line. By prioritizing high-impact visuals and a streamlined social media presence, I validated that professional design can instantly elevate a new shop’s credibility. The data gathered from this test provides a clear roadmap for future full-scale brand development and design iterations.
